Figured, I'd post this after thinking about the last thread. Anyone who has been missing in action if they want...can post what they have been up to.
As I stated... work, kids sports and my parents estate and looking into building a house.
Next....

Finding the value of Z, p, q, n, x u, o and 9! factorial. blah blah blah. I am suppose to be finding the nonstandard distribution, standard normal distribution, z-score, probabilities (area), discrete and continuous random variable, binomial distribution, mutually exclusive (disjointed) events, expected values and standard deviation. yuck,

Been up to a lot of nothing lately. Work has been spotty at best, usually 2 days a week is average right now.
Still working on finding a way out of trucking, but right now everything is out of my hands, just waiting for the other end to figure out what they are going to do.

Mark, I'm surprised you haven't move up to WA, there are so many Californias here I barely feel like I belong. They just hired 5 guys at my husband employer, two retired and they had been already 3 guys short but were holding off as long as they could.

Statistics, I have two quizes, one project, and a final then I hope to never ever see or hear about another probability the rest of my life. I am sick of areas, z scores, student t and normal distributions.

April 2010 while disconnecting I had a stubborn pigtail and the pigtail won I tore the bicep off my shoulder and tore my rotator cuff. It hurt like a SOB. Had the surgery and did the physical therapy. Stayed with my mom, somebody had to bathe and dress me At 6 weeks I went back to work with no use of my right arm. Let's just say it's 80 miles from my house to work. I ended up at mom's Mon-Thurs. and went home for the weekend. Don't get me started on the isolation and the mundane job from purgatory they had me doing.B/c of the BS and games being played I end up having anxiety/panic attacks and depression. I was only getting maybe 5 hrs sleep a night maybe. I was exhausted. I ended up on paxil. Which don't look good for my company. I can pass a Federal DOT physical but not their company physical which is gotta lift 75lbs and push 100lbs. They refuse to even help me get back to driving b/c of this. But yet they have no problem giving me my medical to go drive for someone else Finally in January I had enough of their crap. Walked off the job, hired a lawyer and haven't looked back. Told my lawyer everything. I am no longer working, the anxiety/panic attacks and depression are just about gone. B/c of the shoulder injury I have lost my quality of life. So I am just enjoying my gardens, orchids, volunteering at the animal shelter and being a foster mom for fur children. I can lift 35lbs with both hands up to my chest.10-15lbs w/right arm only close to side and forget doing anything overhead like screwing in a light bulb, getting something off a high shelf. I have been out of the truck for a year. I miss the open road but not the BS. If any of you want to friend me on FB just let me know your from here.

Funny, I posted this in Feb. and everything is still the same. Work, kids, parents estate....and still haven't broke ground on the house yet. Time flies!!! However, did manage to get a family trip to Florida for a week.
Hope things go your way Sunshine!

Working..... some days are longer than others. But I close, so even if the morning is slow (my co-workers slack off) I still have the same closing procedures to close out the day, plus tie up all the loose ends from them Friday everyone walking out, saying " You should be out of here soon." yeah right . I just wanted them to shut it and leave.

Been busy as hell but not making a dime. After over a year of waiting, the apprenticeship I was trying to get into, finally called me and I started the unpaid training portion on Aug 15th and will continue until Sept 16th. Hopefully I won't end up on the out of work list too long. From what I'm hearing from some of the instructors, the list is very short. But for now, I'm training Monday-Friday and usually working the weekends trucking. The loader class was last week, and I got one test and a presentation to finish the Gradesetting class tomorrow. (THANK GOD!!!) The next 3 weeks we'll cover dozers for a week, scrapers for a week, and then compactors and forklifts the final week.
Gotta get to typing up my presentation before I fall asleep,

Well, last night we all gathered at my mom's house for a surprise to my one sister for her birthday (its actually today). We had all the kids and family there, so we turned on the Wii and put in some kiddie dance game. We danced and danced till the house was WAY too hot. Then it was the little kids bedtime so myself, my oldest boy, my niece and my other sister all went bowling. It was SO fun, i haven't been bowling in a year or more. It was pretty fun, I don't remember the last time I was out so late. ;D And its nice to have a son that can drive me around
